Fringe-limbed Treef Fogs

AKA marvelous frogs

Are you familiar with the Ecnomiohyla? It's also known as the marvelous frog! This is one seriously cute frog. Froung throughout Mexico and Central America, it also makes its home in Colombia. It has exaggerated limbs and eyes, making it look like an anime cartoon instead of an actual living, breathing creature. There are 10 species of this medium to large frog and its name refers to its scalloped ridges on its skin, giving it a unique texture and pattern that varies between species. They are also classified among the "flying frogs" of the world.

Have you ever seen a marvelous frog up close? What did you think?
